Please note that all our psychologists charge independently and that each psychologist’s fees will vary.
Anel (Cape Town) – fees
Anel charges R617.50 for one hour of psycho-therapy or play-therapy, this is in line with medical aid rates. Alternatively, a private patient fee of R500.00 per hour is charged for patients who are not covered by medical aid.
The medical aid rate for a 4.5 hour continuous assessment is R1715.40 and R617.50 for an hour feedback session. The full assessment + feedback meeting thus amounts to R2332.90
Alternatively, a private patient fee of R2000.00 is charged per assessment (assessment + feedback meeting) for patients who are not covered by medical aid.
Private patients may also make arrangements to split payment over several months.
Remember that confirmation of the availibility of funds by your medical aid does NOT guarantee payment of the claim as this will depend on the amount available at the time that the claim is being processed. Clients ultimately remain responsible for any monies not paid by their medical aid.
