    ABOUT CLAIRE
    Claire completed her Masters Degree at UNISA and is registered as an Educational Psychologist with the South African Health Professions Council. She is also registered with the South African Council for Educators as an educator and remedial/learning support teacher. Claire has a comprehensive understanding of the social, emotional and academic challenges that children encounter and is skilled at working with children who experience barriers to learning and development.

    Claire has a special interest in the study of resiliency in children. She has been actively involved in the development and implementation of a classroom resiliency programme which incorporates the creation of environments that foster resilience as well as teaching the personal coping skills that promote well being.

    FEES
    Therapy and assessment fees are based on current medical aid rates. However, confirmation of the availability of funds by your medical aid does not guarantee payment of the claim as this depends on the amount available at the time that the claim is processed. The client remains responsible for any monies not paid by their medical aid.
    Therapy is charged at R617.50 per hour.
    The standard fee for an assessment varies according to the nature and reason for testing.
    • The total cost of a psycho-educational assessment, report and feedback is R3000.
    • The total cost of a school readiness assessment, report and feedback is R2800.
    • If the child has had a psycho-educational assessment within the last 2 years and requires a further academic assessment, report and feedback for IEB accommodations, concessions and exemptions the total cost is R2200.
